In light of recent national and local developments affecting refugee communities, our core pillar of equipping others and advocating on behalf of refugees remains as important as ever. As advocates, we remain committed to amplifying refugee voices  and ensuring they are valued as we uphold their dignity and support the well-being of their families.

Refugee Hope Partners grieves the immigration narratives that have emerged in recent days, many of which create misunderstanding and even fear about our refugee neighbors. As champions for legal resettlement, we acknowledge that the potential removal of individuals who followed all required legal steps to seek refuge here has caused understandable concern among many families in our community.

Refugees are our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and friend. For over fifteen years, we have walked with these families and witnessed God’s kingdom at work.

As one of our board members recently shared: “Perhaps much of our fruit is in what we don’t see-in the crises prevented because of the welcome extended, the stability offered, and the relationships built. That’s what RHP does best. And that’s why we’re still here.”

Our work is built on the foundation of our core values, and we stand steadfast in upholding them in all that we do.  In this challenging moment, our commitment remains the same. To engage, equip, and encourage refugee families so that ALL may thrive.

We welcome conversation or questions about the current landscape of refugees in Raleigh and ask you to pray with us and for our community as we navigate an increasingly complex cultural moment.

God has graciously placed RHP in a position to help, and we desire your partnership. With your support, we stand ready to support them with the services and resources they need as they navigate uncertainty.  To achieve this goal, your support is needed now as much as ever to position us to continue sustaining and growing our gospel work in 2026.

At Refugee Hope Partners, the gospel is central to all we do. The good news of Jesus and His commission is the steady compass that orients our steps, fuels our motivation, and drives our work forward.

This is who we are.

This is why we serve.

This is our calling.

And this is the foundation that will continue to guide Refugee Hope Partners in every season to come.
