Our Goal: $800,000

Our Calling Has Never
Been Clearer.

On January 27, the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program was abruptly paused. In the weeks that followed, resettlement agencies across the country—including four right here in Raleigh—lost their contracts, their funding, and their staff. Practically overnight, millions of dollars in refugee support disappeared.

But refugees are still here. Still raising kids, still looking for work, still navigating complex medical visits, still learning English. Still building their new lives—and doing it all in a place that’s still unfamiliar.

And as long as they’re here, so are we. Because that’s the heart of our calling.

When resettlement services were cut, we didn’t step back—we stepped in. Thanks to your support, we’re now one of the last organizations in our region whose services to refugee families have not been limited.

If not us, who? If not now, when? We won’t stand idly by while our neighbors are left in a foreign land.

Six Weeks. $800,000.

SO THAT ALL MAY THRIVE

The need has never been greater. But we can’t do it alone. We must step up as the body of Christ and commit to our calling.

The need for refugee support hasn’t lessened—it’s exploded. With the loss of government funding, refugees are left without essential services like:

Housing assistance

Job placement support

Help accessing medical care

Community connection and mentorship

This Is Where You Come In.

WE’VE LAUNCHED A CRISIS RESPONSE PLAN ROOTED IN URGENCY, STRATEGY, AND GOSPEL HOPE.

Your gift today will help us:

Sustain our current programming (think ESL classes, Bible studies, mentorship, and transportation assistance)

Help unemployed refugees find their first jobs (contributing to their family’s stability and the Triangle’s economy)

Coordinate care for families with complex medical needs (one of the largest gaps from r+p agencies vanishing overnight)

Launch a new Welcome Space in South Raleigh, closer to where families live (accessible support has never been more important – and this is where most of our neighbors are)

We have our sights set on supporting a total of 500+ families with the $800,000 goal by continuing our current programs (more vital than ever) and responding to resettlement agency cuts by providing additional support services and bringing care closer to developing refugee neighborhoods.

Your investment in the Our Neighbors, Our Calling campaign fuels our mission and positions us to bridge the gap.
