What an incredible night! 350 people gathered together at our 2nd annual Next Door Nations Banquet at North Ridge Country Club on March 19th to hear how God is working through Refugee Hope Partners in the lives of our refugee neighbors.
The special evening included an art gallery showcasing the works of several of our refugee students, a message of hope from our Executive Director, Michele Suffridge, an inspiring performance by a talented group of refugee students through our partnership with The Raleigh Music Collective, and a panel of passionate local leaders who shared their thoughts on what it looks like to cultivate dreams, strengthen community and restore hope in the refugee community and our city.
The room’s commitment to joining us in our mission was felt loud and clear, raising over $200,000 that evening. We are so thankful for each and every person who has partnered with us financially as we continue to love our refugee neighbors with the hope of the gospel so that all may thrive!
A special thank you to our community panelists:
Doug Briggs, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Neighbor Health
